Grace M. Lee, JD, has spent her legal career handling business and transactional related matters. She has represented domestic and international clients in all aspects of general business, intellectual property, technology, contracts and transactions, employment, and real estate matters. Her work includes organization, governance and compliance, management, sale and purchase of businesses, joint venture arrangements, technology licensing, government contracts, executive compensation, employment defense litigation, copyright and trademark protection, and commercial real estate, among other areas.
Ms. Lee also conducts strategic analysis and risk assessment for her clients regarding international business expansion and foreign investment and opportunities. She counsels clients in the areas of technology and intellectual property transfers, financing, joint ventures, products and services, and real estate. She implements practical strategies that enable companies to remain competitive and ahead of the domestic and international markets by keeping current on policies and political developments.
Ms. Lee's clients range from solo entrepreneurs to international corporations, and include start up companies and government contractors as well as small to large-size businesses in the D.C. Metropolitan area and overseas.
Prior to opening her own practice in 2009, she worked for other Virginia and D.C. law firms in the areas of business law, technology, employment and real estate and has served as in-house counsel to various corporations. She is licensed to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
